Jay Jung is a founder and owner of Jay Jung Architect Inc. (d/b/a ArchiBUILD) with more than 15 years of experience in a planning and architectural design of various building types.

Prior to opening his firm in 2016, he worked as a director at H Architecture and a project architect at Perkins Eastman in New York, USA. His design portfolio includes new construction and renovations of a myriad of residential, commercial, public, and educational facilities in USA and Canada. He is an expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM, 3D visualization drawings) where he incorporates it in all his projects.   Using BIM models effectively from design to construction phase helped to reduce the errors and construction time.  Jay has been executed more than 30 projects successfully from Design Development to Construction Administration. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Pratt institute and his master’s degree from Columbia University in New York, USA.  He is a licensed architect in British Columbia, Canada and the State of New York, USA. He holds a certification from National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), a real estate sales person’s license from the New Jersey Real Estate Commission (NJREC), building technical contracting license from Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR), and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
